Training
Training before pickup
Partner trainers. Real work. A dog that arrives home ready.
Renegade Rex K9 Ranch works with partner trainers. Adopters can have their dog trained before pickup and collect it when the program is done. Training is paid separately and depends on the dog and the goals, from basic obedience to more. If you are traveling from out of state, we recommend training first. Ask on your adoption call and Mike will match the dog and the trainer.
How it works
- Choose training before pickup on your adoption call
- Your dog goes to one of the paid trainers the ranch works with
- You collect your dog when the program is done
Price and length
Both depend on the dog and your goals, from basic obedience to more. Training is paid separately from adoption. Ask Mike on your call.
Out of state
If you are spending money on travel or transport, training first is the best thing you can do. Your dog arrives knowing the rules.
Why train first
A rescued working dog with a few weeks of structure arrives home knowing the rules. That is easier on the dog and on you, and it is the single best thing you can do if you are spending money on travel or transport.
